if you have done biometrics in the past with uscis for any other kind of benefit then you may not need to but if you have never then it’s like giftency said

yup Biometric is mandatory unless they will reuse your biometric if you have applied before with uscis

my friend got her first ead before fingerprint appointment. not necessary. and never done fingerprint before than.

@eda was his first ead opt? if not this is not true, they probably have it from his visa application or whatever way he came into the USA.

@Eda false because uscis will reuse people fingreprinting they would even mail out a form stating that they will .

read the uscis adjudication manual, it’s literally spelt out that an officer can not adjudicate an ead without biometrics except for opt eads

yes her first. send me your phone number guys, i will personally send her ead s picture to you. it literally says that fingerprint not available on it. no opt ead s before as well.
