terminate your removal proceedings you should be good to go because couple of my friends went back to there country they didn’t have any issue

maybe you should check with your lawyer to confirm if you are in removal proceeding. I sure if you were in removal USCIS wouldn’t have approve your I-131 application. I can be corrected if am wrong

I don’t think you should even think about leaving the country till you terminate the removal, focus on dismissing that please, sadly I have friends that were not able to return. Don’t do it , it’s not worth the risk.

@Stephania Romano I agree with you . if one is on removal and you leave the country, you automatically deport yourself and you will not be able to return . am in the same situation waiting for my vawa decisions to dismiss my removal. it’s just a long journey

long story short: I used the Advance parole based pending Adjustment of status/ VAWA concurrent filing I-360, I-485, I-131 & I-765. ( I went to Canada by car for only 2 days) I am not longer in removal proceedings, I was granted withholding of removal many years ago. I’ve heard you cannot travel even with AP. thank God I did not have any problem coming back home, I was paroled for 1 year. I first entered to usa without inspection (EWI) and never left until now with Advace paroled.—— I am so thankful that I did not have issues entering. Now my question is: did I lose my Withholding of removal protection by traveling on AP? Does that help now that I have a lawful entry? ( I already sent this questions to my lawyer but I am still waiting for an answer) Thank you all for your input!

@PG Jav … did you went to Canada using a visa or perhaps just the AP and were you interrogated by the Canada immigration officers of why not having a visa ?? with your removal proceedings, were you ever given a court date or you never had a court? if you did had a court date? was your case dismissed by the immigration judge? your response will be highly appreciated.

@ال وقت Canada has a visa exemption to my nationality. I used my passport and the Advance parole combo card .- entering canada I was ask for my status in the usa and I told the officer that I have advance parole. He physical reviewed the sheets on my passport but of course I did not have any stamp yet. I told the officer that was the first time using it and that until I came back to usa they (CBP) will stamp it. He was like “ I never seen anything like that” then told me how are you going to come back to usa? (at that moment I felt like my heart stop beating for a second…) he then ask how long are you going to stay? I told him 1 day., I’ll be back tomorrow. then he said: you are goo to go- I reply thank you. it was really quick maybe like 3 minutes

@ال وقت yes I was in court a few times through many years, (I was in removal procedings many years ago) and I was granted withholding of removal by the immigration judge. I am not longer en removal procedings. I am not sure if by giving me WOR thats called dismissed. please let me know if you have any other questions :-)
