call and write the uscis field office or service center where your wife’s case is currently processing informing them about withdrawal of the application. if it’s already at nvc stage send inquiry or contact nvc as well to inform them of the withdrawal

I really do not understand why people are pleading on other people’s decisions. it’s wrong to marry out of pity or illegitimate marriage that’s marriage fraud if you ask me, for the OP to come to a divorce conclusion they must have had irreconcilable differences which s/he mentioned. even if they settle and he continues with the application the person in question will still come here and misbehave and this OP will be in a deep mess! the only advice is don't rush!!!!! Just leave each other free for a month! just don't communicate at all! If you feel you don't miss each other, moreover you feel disgusted, so thenafter get apart! Uscis usually works slowly! Don't do anything until you are aproved! Afterwords you will make a final decision! Don't listen to those who have had bad experiences. They shouldn't judge everyone with the same cover! All the ppl have difficulties in marriage! stay stable!❤️
