think about it this way: if you were on eb2/3, and had the credentials to get to eb1, you would do it too, right? why wouldn't others?

i think if india get the spillover from family based visa to eb1 , its expected that we can have date moved to nov 22 by the end of 2nd quarter of fy 2026 which is April 2026. I am stuck as well, waiting for my pd oct 22 to become current.. praying 🙏

I am in the same boat (not ported from eb2/3 though) waiting for May 2023 for over a year now. I hope they would start a process to prefer process Eb1 over ported cases.

an applicant filing today in mid-2025 is joining a line that is already years long and is growing faster than it is shrinking. It will first take several years to clear the existing backlog up to 2025, and only then will their priority date be addressed. This leads to the 2030 - 2033 prediction.

@s s @a m @s s in my opinion nothing wrong to port if they eligible in right manner but with new EB1 priority date because their EB1 eligibility starts on the date of porting.
