I think it’s guaranteed. Just need to call USCIS and ask for Infopass appointment for Emergency AP. They will give u a time slot in the field office near u. You need to fill some forms and need photographs, not sure what all documents needed. You can also search in USCIS website.

You will get only maximum 1 month time. You have to return to US within that time. These people will never understand the urgency of non immigrants.
