why is taking so long???
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you know why my I-130 is taking so long?? I check my account now says 13 months for the decision and my 485 change everyday, last week said 4 months and I checked today 6 months…. last updated was on June 14 because Emma told me, she also told me that everything is fine and now my case is in a FO office… Field Office Jurisdiction: (NJC) NEW JERSEY CENTRAL FIELD OFFICE does anyone has or had a case there? it's really frustrating 😔

my i 130 changed from 2 month to 11 month,, my i 485 says one week since july ,,, i know it’s frustrating but dont look at it ,, @camila cubillos

@camila cubillos hello camila, my process had been three years and I recently got my request for evidence letter last week. Did you contact everybody,obdusman office, congresswoman’s office, even senator? I have done everything and finally got the notification.

mine was moving around a lottttt before I got approved. I think it does that at the field office. the progress time is absolutely not correct. it was at 12 months when I was approved.

@Betul A Hello Betul, I been waiting on my I-130 for almost 3 years and I-485 for 9 months, never got a letter or any news until 2 days ago… I have a lawyer and never contact anybody… how can I do that?

@camila cubillos hello camila, sorry I am just seeing this. i would love to help. I contacted everybody online. senator, obdusman office, congresswoman office. after doing those, tell your lawyer to contact USCIS. my previous lawyer said there is nothing to do besides waiting. (although it is outside of waiting time) however changed my lawyer, he said that he will contact the uscis himself. one month later, request for evidence letter came and now it is so close to finally get my green card. i would recommend you doing the same. dont wait cause this is not normal
