why is i485 approval taking so much time
I filled my i485 concurrently with i140 and they both were received at Texas Service Center on may 31 2023.. biometrics were done on June 28th 2023 then 6 months of no activity, and case was transferred to NBC on December 26 202. now it feels like again a period on no activity as nothing changed and Emma agents keep saying case is still at NBC. when can I expect approval?

what's the usual practice of USCIS before approval- is the case moving to local field office or the case will be approved from NBC?

@Rahul Lodha Please people never lose hope. Fight for your rights. You can sue USCIS for delay on your own, if you cannot afford an attorney, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it and to get some help "writ of mandamus pro se"
