Why are cases going ahead of mine?
Why and how can they keep moving cases ahead of me, pushing me back and forth? I’m seeing it in the ranking section. 2 weeks ago I was 14 out of 34 and this past week I was 13 out of 34 after a case was approved and now another case has moved in front of me… 😭😭

don’t trust the app plus there might be people who apply before you that’s the reason you are pushing back …

I share the same sentiment with you about how others move much quicker than your own case. For the sake of your own mental health, do something productive and be patient. Expedite your case if urgently needed to a tier 2 officer OR reach out to your local congressman. Good luck.

@ Menuka Thank you..

@pending Trust me I try my best each and every day. I’m self employed and I’m working my ass off but any day I’m off I stress and have time to look and view others getting approvals and it gets me down, especially when they applied after me. I wish they had a consistent system of processing petitions in order received, no matter what service center they arrive or end up. It’s extremely hard to see 2022 petitions being approved. I’ve already enlisted the congressman and wrote to the senator but I don’t think any of that is helping…

@Tracey your frustration is totally valid, and I share your pain. Hard to see cases approved in 60-90 days as we wait for months and years. No way to dress it up: it is simply unfair, and unjust. Expediting is really your only control on the situation, focusing on your business, family, hobbies is the best use of time.
My advice anyway, but I’m also here spending time on Lawfully lol

Did you already get your EAD or AP? You see, some cases are really meant to be fast like EB1 category. Other than that there are a lot of things to consider like background checks especially if your surname is very generic and common. I just got my EAD/AP last week after 280 days of waiting. I used to sulk on the corner before lol but with a million cases on their desk, I just pray that USCIS will process everyone’s case and soon will catch up with the crazy backlogs.

most of the cases that I seeing approve are not family base but for jobs so we the family are not here to work either smh

it’s been 10 months plus and I’m still f waiting

@H TX thank you so much for your response. I-130 standalone is my situation in CSC spouse overseas. pd June 17, 2021 and I started speaking up in March once I saw the processing dates change dramatically, going past my date! Mainly received generic automated type emails simply saying they have no timeframe on my approval knowing they are past my date for approval. They’ve recently changed how they display what the timeframes are now, just simply 9.5 months.. regardless it’s still my timeframe which is why I’m so frustrated. Transparency goes a long way and prevents so much heartache💔 This system is beyond broken and I don’t see any solutions any time soon. So us unfortunate ones just have to continue waiting patiently, pulling our hair out and pulling a few teeth until we can breathe again for the NEXT phase.. ugh
Tracey MJun 13, 2022
@ pending I’m I-130 standalone
Tracey MJun 13, 2022
@tas I only pay attention to the category I’m in which is I-130 standalone in California. I’m seeing these getting approved and they applied after me, hence my frustration
Tracey MJun 13, 2022
@Mortimer I totally understand. At 10 months we thought we would’ve been back together by that time so we just continued suffering thru all this time apart and it’s exactly where still are today. I’m hoping APPROVALS for all of us before we go insane
Lab StructuresJun 13, 2022
I see. In your case, it seems pretty odd. By any chance what service center or field office did your application end up to? Sometimes field offices which are pretty busy by nature, definitely makes an impact in the processing wait time.
At this point, I would jump out of joy if I get an RFE for 693. If I see that sht, I am off the hook and can wait with inner peace.
Tracey MJun 13, 2022
@pending my service center is CA. They used to have the longest processing times for I-130 then this past March everything changed. I’m here until I get APPROVED and I’m gone .. best wishes to you for your case!

@Mortimer I’ve gotten the same responses from them for the same reason. There is no transparency within this organization and it’s difficult to get an expedite answered. It’s so ridiculous..
