Who sets the embassy interview date? me or them?
I'm super confused. We got a email that says: "Dear Beneficiary,
We have received an approved petition on your behalf.
Please be informed that there is a visa appointment system which is intended for eligible applicants who were not able to meet their original appointment dates or received notification that they must schedule an appointment.
Please follow the instructions below in scheduling an appointment at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Indonesia"
when I try to schedule it it says "The Case ID that you have entered cannot be found." so I'm assuming I just need to wait for a interview date right? it's been this way for 2 weeks.
Bear in mind my case has been successfully expedited and it says the case is located at Jakarta embassy.

@kingsley Azumara thanks! i was in nebraska moved to california serivde center took 400 days exactly. is it the NVC or the embassy though that sets the interview?

NVC will send you welcome letter when there’s interview space at the consulate. it’s a first DQ first serve. they do it accordingly so NVC will show you a welcome letter and you print the letter and take to the interview coz they’d ask it

@kingsley Azumara I already got DQ'ed and my case is already at the embassy, and the website says there are appointment slots available..I tried emailing the NVC and they replied and told me to email the embassy instead..maybe irs different at each embassy..
