ugh, took them close to 8 months to issue an RFE? Yes, 4 months into COVID lockdown, still. What was the RFE? Understand some may not wish to naturalize, but what would your field office be if you were to file N-400?

the RFE stated more evidence for bonafide marriage., so I submitted another life insurance medical records of my step son that stated me as his emergency contact, internet bills, phone bills,debit and credit accounts statements and cards, more affidavits from families and friends, my medication record and health insurance that shows my wife as contact person, my health proxy supermarket membership cards for both., both ID’s that shows the same address, car insurance with both names on it, car rental receipt for our lastest vacation and the hotel receipt

i hope they approve you. but it is out of process time. did you request one?

yes I sent request and they responded that it’s pending background check

ps the background check thing is false. Background checks take 2-4 weeks max… Guys plz google ‘uscis paperwork stuck underground’ it affects mostly 2020 applicants.
