I applied for i751 in April 2020 and n400 in April 2021 and now waiting for interview. Biometrics were done early this year.its with NBC and I think it is the slowest

I also got my 24 months extension letter 4 days ago even though I got a stamp in passport. But the main interview letter is still pending. applied in April 2020

I think they are sending it to everyone because of the new rule which will give 24 months extension instead of 18 to everyone who will apply under i751. in my case I do not need it because I got a stamp on passport for same. Instead they should send us the interview information at least phone number of local field office to call and find out when the interview slot is available and when we will expect our interview so that one can plan holidays out of country.
