Who gets their 485 approved first?
I have asked this question in multiple forums but could not get an answer. Persons X and Y filed under EB3 Skilled and ROW Category. X has a PD of 1/1/2015 and Y has a PD of 1/1/2016. According to visa bulletin, assume both dates are current. If for some reason, Y filed 485 much earlier than X. Whose 485 will be adjudicated first? (My guess is X since he has a much earlier PD than Y)

Apparently not 🤷🏻‍♀️My priority date is Dec 2021 but a lot of until April 2022 priority dates are approved first. I’m eb2 though

@SMDA 15 - But you don’t know when the other’s 485 filing date is. Isn’t it?

at this point I can’t 100% day Uscis is not using pd dates

The answer depends. Others get there PD through filing i-485 while others get it through when the LC was received by the DOL.
