which office?
hello,
I was wondering were my I-485 application went. My case number is still MSC but USCIS transferred it to another office but I don’t know which one ??
My I-140 is in Nebraska I beliece (case number start with LIN).
February 11, 2022 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
January 7, 2022 We transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.
January 6, 2022 Your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was transferred to another office for processing.
January 4, 2022 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.
It’s kind of confusing. anybody having the same issue?

the i485 will have got transferred to Nebraska as that is where i140 is pending. once i140 approved the i485 will transfer back to MSC

i really wouldnt spend any time worrying where your case is. as log as its being processed which they have taken your fingerprints thats all that matters. your just waiting for an interview or you might get lucky and they may waive it. its just a waiting game now. you cant work out how long its going be

yeah! you’re right. I’m still waiting for my I-140 to be approved though. 😓
