@kalpana devi On May 17, at 2 p.m., I found the approval notice in the document section, and on May 19, the USCIS account was changed to case is approved. I believe we will get the welcome letter tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Please let me know when you received it, and I will notify you when I receive it.

@kalpana devi 4:15 pm EDT I received email and text message that action has been taken on my case, I login my account and I see they transferred my case to department of state. I hope the welcome letter follows it.

@kalid jamma Exactly, my friend. I feel like we always face more difficulties than others. Some of my friends received their welcome letter just 3 days after approval and finished everything within 10 days. Their priority date is May 25, 2024, and now they’re completely done — just waiting for the interview.

@kalpana devi After completing everything, NVC usually takes about 10 to 15 days to send us the completion email. Have you finished everything yet? I’m still stuck on the I-864 because I haven’t printed it out to sign by hand yet.

@kalpana devi In our country, it takes about 2 months just to get an interview appointment, and another 2 months to actually have the interview. I think it will take at least 4 months, my friend.

@kalpana devi How is your case going? I’m still waiting for DQ. Everything is just a waiting game. After DQ, it took us another 4 months to finally complete the interview.

@kalpana devi Have you received your Case Complete yet? I got an RFE for basic documents. I had everything fully prepared, but the lawyer forgot to upload the marriage certificate. So ridiculous!

@Amy Nguyen yes I have been dqed and now waiting for IL.. what’s wrong with that lawyer, he had one job to do and still didn’t get the things done.. don’t worry amy give sometime they gonna respond you back soon

@kalpana devi What do you mean by “got rejected”? As for me, I stopped relying on the lawyer and uploaded everything by myself. They were way too careless with something so important to us.
