whats wrong with uscis?
guys it’s so so so frustrating! it’s been more than a year and I haven’t heard anything from the uscis about my i130. this is so frustrating as my husband lives in us and cannot just come to India leaving his job and the wait time and the suspense is literally killing me. he holds USA green card and all the approvals that im seeing these days are only for us citizen! its very unfair. can anybody help me out and tell me how long do i have to wait ?

waiting time for spouse of US Citizen is also about year to 15 months . the wait times are crazy. there is nothing one can do about this except to wait unfortunately.

wait times are usually a bit longer for spouses of LPR. spouses of US Citizens take precedence over spouses of LPR.

my spouse is a US citizen and I am waiting 21 months for the green card.

F2A isn’t current anymore and you would likely be waiting years at the NVC stage even if your I-130 were approved. USCIS is now prioritizing I-130s for categories with visas available (ie. spouses of US citizens).

17 months no approval F2A Spouse LPR, I ask my wife to apply for citizenship asap but her time starting from September 2024 so all I have to do is wait and pray.
