thank you all so much ☺️
when feeling out the point about the appointment location, we made a mistake and wrote USA instead of where I am actually living, as we thought, for some reason, it’s my husband who needs to go to the interview, and he is in the USA. later we tried to fix it but didn’t work out. Do you think it can be a reason for a rejection?

unfortunately there's nun any of us can do but wait
I'm 12 months in Texas center it's frustrating but we gotta excerise patience

you should update the document and upload it online to see if you can avoid having an issue. @

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 we couldn’t update the document any more. We sent them a edit request email, but the reuqest to edit got rejected. ((

@ just fix the document, sign the updated one and upload it to unsolicited evidence on the petitioners online account.
it can’t hurt.

They are going to ask you to fill i-1824 form that cost $590. And it will take more time, several more months. Try talking to a USCIS live agent to see if you can avoid that

there is nothing you can do . there is no accountability from uscis actions . we going towards more wait time than during the pandemic time and nobody is worry apparently.

it’s so upsetting. Living 10 months apart and no one knows how much more. And once i-130 gets accepted, how much more we will have to wait for i-485 to get accepted.

im a bit confused about your point on I-485. if you are not in the US = doing consular processing then you don’t need an I-485. if you are inside the US you will need I-485 to adjust your current visa but you should be able to file this at the same time as the I-130.
Based on your comment I believe that you mistakenly filed as inside the US. I vaguely remember some information about this in the filling in guide for the forms. if I’m not mistaken it set out a process how to make corrections to the form once submitted. in any case, I would talk to an agent and just explain what happened. in the meantime it would prob not hurt checking out the online guide for the form. I found it very informative.
ps: good luck, we are nov 29

@Agnes 🇬🇧 i am out of USA, I haven’t applied for the i-485. I am thinking of weather it’s better to go to USA and change the status with i-485, or keep waiting in Armenia with consular processing.
Agnes 🇬🇧Sep 4, 2024
gotcha. I guess the question is whether you can go to the US or not. You would need a work visa or similar. If you apply from tourist visa you may have an issue with visa fraud checks which may not be worth it. You could also try going the K3 route, but from what I can see it doesn’t speed up things. Apparently they only approve K visas fast if u r not yet married which makes no sense to me at all. it really is insane this process..

@Agnes 🇬🇧 We are married. I have B1/B2 visa and have entered to USA 4 times before which I hope adds to the chance that they will allow me to enter again. I think of K3 or H-4 visas as options too. At this stage I just want to be with my husband. :D Thank you so much for you help and advice)))
