What Next?
Hi, I am feeling super overwhelmed today and I am just writing for guidance and help. It has been roughly 85 days since they received the RFE and my grandfather had a stroke recently. It’s been 29 days since I got a congressman to help, and like 15-20 days since i requested an expedite for the travel permit I-131. How much longer do you guys think i’ll have to wait for a response for any of the above?

@Josh S. since you on k1 visa it’s not necessary if your original one doesn’t pass 2 years old if it does then you need to get it done whenever they send you RFE or email

@Josh S. when your case was at nvc stage and after you got DQ before you attended to the embassy interview you should be submitted your medical .. did you do that ?

@Josh S. no , only medical if you did before you got your K1 visa then you don’t need to submit it again unless 2 years pass since the day you did .. everything else you need to submit like the birth certificate , passport, taxes , evidence to proof that your marriage was in good faith..
