What is the meaning of this?
we had our interview of June 26th and it went really well. The officer only asked basic questions and gathered some additional documents from us. While we were leaving the officer told us that he has everything he needs and he will make a decision and mail it to us. Today we received another i797 notice of action. They want us to come for another interview on July 18th. This notice of action has a stamp on it which says “action completed approved for filing”
I don’t understand what the meaning of this is. Why another interview? The officer said they have everything to make a decision but now we are being asked to come for another interview? This is so frustrating because our patience is being tested

someone else had the same question on a similar action in their case, and it all comes down to the officer and if he picked any inconsistencies and need to interview you and your spouse individually to make sure the legitimacy of the marriage.

@Jawwad Kiani understand, so your are also waiting for 485 approval since 2021? I think the next step you can do is a writ of mandamus

mine is 30th August 2021 two interviews cancelled just got my i131 approved but i had to use my congresswoman and also expedite my case but i am not using my advance parole to leave this country lol, just wanted to see if they will approve it.
