priority date is the date they recieved your case and notice date is the date they sent you your receipt notice.

@JR the date they receieve the case is named Receipt date. priority date means your place in the line. if you’re not from china, India or Mexico your priority date is current, but for them it could be even from 2010-2011 years

I think Katerina meant employment-based visa or green card applications. Applicats from India and China (not sure about Mexico) need to wait ~10 years for their cases to be processed
