there's something in your timeline is not Right .131 in sep and 765 in Jan ? in your charts shows 131 y 765 approved same day .when you received your EAD and AP?

yeah cuz i submitted an outdated form for the EAD so i had to resumbit a new one. i got my AP around september and rn, my EAD case is showing that update which scares the hell out of me 😩

i have my AP with me. i’m 100% sure that’s my receipt number cuz that’s what on my uscis account

Gojo, you should call USCIS, ask to speak with a tier 2 officer. They will be able to give you details.

Call this number: (800) 375-5283. The automated system will give you the runaround so simply say “infopass”. You will be connected to a tier 1 agent. Explain your situation, they may or may not be able to give you full details. If not, tell them you would like to speak with a tier2 officer. They may be able to transfer you or setup a callback.

it’s not anything to worry about it happened with my daughter,her EAD combo card was approved and sent out but didn’t receive it,had to re-apply for them got new receipt numbers and the old receipt number changed to case closed,benefits receive by other means, got the combo cards from the new receipt numbers a few weeks later

hey yall just to update since people are still commenting, apparently they said they made a mistake and entered the wrong case status. so, for the timeline:
january 01: i received the “case closed, benefits received by other means” status
a week after, i had a conversation with the live agent via EMMA and they told me that someone will call me within 30 days regarding this issue
after 3 weeks: USCIS called me literally just said whatever the live agent told me then said that i’ll receive a notice in 2 weeks
after 2 weeks: my EAD card was approved , but the I-485 is still processing
