Hello Lawfully family!! Question! Is it possible for an asylum seeker' s partner to apply for a b1/b2 visitor?? the asylum applicant has not been interviewed yet.. but because it is taking forever he wants his wife to apply for visitor.
Please do not hesitate to tell experience or what you know about it.

Happened to a friend, the same situation but during the interview for the B1/B2, they asked about the spouse and they actually turned the computer to her and showed her that her husband is in the US presently and applied for asylum, that she should go and wait until they decide on what to do with the husband’s application in the US
