same boat 689 days . US citizen filing for spouse Jan 21 2020 Texas. what wrong have I done to them ( Never criminal records too) ! I sent e request. they said backgrounds checks since 8 months still background checks. is making me fraustrated

l tried all avenues to find out about my case, o,nibudsman, congress people, and continual contacting I'mmigration. this all led to the same outcome - no one has a clue what's going on, they state your case is awaiting approval and that's it. l figure l just have to wait like most others. immigration has a formula,. but they are not telling us what the formula is. many go to federal court and file to sue USCIS/NVC, cases there are backlogged, end results for many vary - some win the case, others do not. l pray for everyone to have a good outcome and our families are together soon.

My question how they sort out all these knew cases si fast less than one year they have no problem with no 2021 cases that y they all are approve SO the 2019 and jan- feb 2020 cases they having issue with i Even Saw 2018 still on the agenda SO we are abandon time do everything

those cases pre 2020 fell under the old rules old president. new rules new president 2020 till now are pushed through. when l applied for visa in 2002 it took 8 years to fully process till the end. 3.7years just to be with my husband, the rest was spent trying to finalize gc/naturalization. those of you applying 2020 til now are breezing through the system.

that not true said late 2020 breezing thru cause i AM sure i don't Saw no Jan-feb going thru u might see few march and April BT majority 2021 they are the ones breezing thru i thought when the president said he is going to roll back the processing time i didnt knew he wasnt talking about those from 2019-2020 that mean he is no better than the former president

@LS it's a different time, back when l did this process for my spouse it did take years. l didn't complain l just stayed the course and dealt with the 3.7 years of BS. then the reminder of 4.5 years fighting to get gc which they never sent but was paid for, then naturalization took forever and paperwork was written up wrong by immigration. more time wasted to gain naturalization. today you wait a few months and vola your approved. hindsight is a gift 😂😂
