i am a dreamer and under DACA status.

okay, so the way it works is that after the case was received, they wait till they get the biometrics and once they get that, in a month or so they update the case to say biometrics were added. then they send the approved document to you.

what is the processing time for your i-485?

it says Texas service center is currently on August 26,2020 cases. and for daca they don’t need fingerprints for AP

even for marriage based they don’t need fingerprints for AP. the fingerprints are for I-485. once that happens, this runs in parallel.

we are not under i-130. my application is only for advance parole. thanks though

yeah not for i-485 as well. you don’t know what DACA status is ? we are not eligible for green cards yet

my case was updated with fingerprints taken on 03/14 it’s at TSC

timeline: applied in end of august. biometrics in mid December end of Jan it updated to show “case was updated to show fingerprints were taken” in a week or two it was updated to show “case was approved” got the document in a week after that.

Hi, there. My husband completed his biometrics on March 17, and the status check shows that the case was updated to show that fingerprints were taken. I responded to an RFE and the status shows that the evidence was received on March 30. The first three letters of our case numbers are MSC. Is it normal for the biometrics to still not be updated and a work authorization not sent?

hi Veronica, your case showed that fingerprints were taken which means biometrics was updated. you should follow up on the work authorization and advance parole. otherwise you are fine.

Hi, Aezaz. Should I contact them about the EAD even though we are not 75 days out yet? I've contacted our attorney and she did not really provide any direction, simply said it"s taking more time than normal. But, it would be nice to at least get the work authorization. It feels like we are at an absolute standstill.

hey veronica i applied as well for my self and you dont have to call them cause its not gonna change nothing i been waiting for my i765 and i485 for 8months today now they telling me they gonna send me interview date soon and about my EAD still take time it depends what area u at my area is between 6-10 months the only thing we can do is wait i guess i hate that they cant provide exact date but it is what it is this corona messed everything up

Hi , my case was recieved on March 4th and on march 16th It got updated that my fingerprints were added to the case, after that I have not gotten anything else, its almost been 3 months now that the fingerprints have been added, I also applied to Nebraska center, should I be expecting anything anytime soon, at least for this summer?

I applied I-131 reentry permit in November 2021. In January 2022, I received notice shows fee received. Few days later, my case status on USCIS website shows”fingerprints were taken”(I didn’t even get biometric notice, I assume that’s because I renewed my green card few months before my application they might used the biometric from then). Now is August 2022,I haven’t received anything from USCIS and my case stasis remains”fingerprints were taken”. What I suppose do now? Show I call USCIS?
