What an 8 year immigration journey!
I officially got approved today after the officer insisted during the marriage interview that he might request an I-601 waiver for misrepresentation but I overwhelmed them after the interview with a lot of evidence to show that I’ve never intended to do any misrepresentation. I have learned a lot from the Lawfully community and wish the best to all those waiting from USCIS.
Edit: I was not asked to file an I-601 waiver by USCIS. They approved the I-485 directly.
Happy New Year to you all 🎆

@Jo Lo they said I didn’t attend school when I first came and I had a strong argument for that. I provided my degrees, school transcripts, certificates, and letter of recommendations from the leadership clubs I was involved with. I believe I convinced them that my intention was always to attend school in the US and they approved the greencard at the end.

@jhoe . I was not asked to file an I-601 waiver by USCIS. I sent them a lot of evidence to prove that I’ve never intended to do misrepresentation.
