Weird encounter with Emma- live chat (Probably blacklisted)
Hey guys, Did anyone of you have such encounter with the live chat? I reached out to them after I think 15-20 days on case follow up: First time, one guy asked my receipt number and when I gave it to him, he just kept copy pasting one generic message that said- for this case you need to call 1 (800) 375-5283.. have a nice day! X 4-5 times. I called on this number but was welcomed by the IVR. I tried going to Emma again, connected to another agent who asked my details and after I gave her- I got a message saying- Unspecified ended the live chat. Do you think they have blacklisted me or just too frustrated with the work they do? One new thing I noticed too was they let me know which number I am in the queue. Any such experiences for people who reached out today or off late?

I had a similar encounter today in the morning. Chatted online with agent and didn’t want to give me any updates according to them since there’s no update in my case couldn’t tell me anything. But, I’m sure I’m some what blacklisted since I contacted them a lot for updates and I have a service request pending for more than 100 days and no response as well as 2 expedite request that they had said they would response within 7 days and today when I asked the agent she said that information is not correct and that whatever another agent says it doesn’t matter I just have to wait. When I asked about my case she just sent me the typical process time link to check on their website (not helpful at all). I have noticed that the more I contact them they are more rude and not willing to answer questions. There’s no accountability on their end they say one thing and other agents say another thing.

yeah seriously @J A .. But were you able to get through to the agent through Emma though or via a call? I couldn’t pass the IVR only!

interesting.. I’ll probably just wait I guess.. I was so close to replying the first agent with a passive aggressive comment like- yeah dude only if our jobs were so easy, copy pasting would work and keep my job going or just keep copying and pasting the question I had. 😅 But realized if the assessing office looks at all of these, I might risk it lol

lol definitely behave. Chatted twice today and was instantly transferred to agents. Got information I already knew, told I can only ask questions in 2027 😂
