I think within the month sounds correct. I don’t know how long it takes NVC to receive the case from USCIS but there is currently a backlog of 10 days. So it takes them about 20 days to create the case after they receive it

my I 130F case was approved 10/22 and I received electronic notice on 10/25 … the case was sent in 10/26 and on 10/28 NVC received the case and I was able to begin the second part of the process on 10/28. my case is considered “paperless” maybe that’s why they moved so fast or maybe it was due to the end of year “hustle” but now I have been waiting 2 months for review and approval of the DS-260 and for my interview date 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Celeste, I think NVC has been taking 90 days to review the documents so you still have time. Thank you for the info, that helps a lot. I applied online as well so I should receive the email from NVC soon as well then

you should wait or check the Timeline for NVC if don't have the web site to check I can send it to you

What service center do you have ?

at first I had Nebraska Center… but they transferred to Texas and then they transferred it to Potomac… and I didn’t receive any notice about my case being transferred… it’s complicated… but I’m really desperate right now, I’m considering suing USCIS for taking too long

@Sam K my case was sent to NVC at November 7th but I did not recieve wellcome letter until now

@dih- I received mine the same day it was transferred. I think that is because I applied online the process is automated.

@Just- You should be getting it soon. Processing times for service centers are long. Texas is taking 10.5- 14 months to process applications. Potomac is taking 12.5- 16 months. Once you are in the range, you should get it in couple of weeks

nope, still at NVC, I had to resubmit a doc on March 28 and waiting for NVC to review it
