can you share your timeline , service center and field office?

hey I’m on the same situation as you. did my interview today and at the end the officer said it was approved and I will receive the green card in two weeks and “ you can go home”. However he did not gave us any document showing the approval and my account does not show any update. what field office were you?

exactly same except he said 30 days but in reality like 7-10 days. I’m in Greer SC

hey krung Las Vegas. not in my case, he just mentioned I was approved. I was expecting some doc saying that, but he did not give it to us

same! IV today and officer said it was approved

he did it verbaly for us, and he took my tourist visa

Don’t worry, your status will change. Did my interview last week Monday and yesterday got my green card. The status changes to case approved the following day.

We’re in the same boat. our case is Marriage based and we interviewed in Phoenix yesterday. Officer said we were approved but nothing has changed online. good luck!

for mine interview the officer verbally approved us. but it’s 3 months with no update. hope you all get an update soon

@a b the questions are pretty standard. if you’ve read one experience, you’ve read them all. We are marriage based adjusting from k1 The officer went through the I-485 questions with my husband and asked the standard yes/no questions. then he asked details about our wedding (who went l, where we got married, and what did we do after) then he asked for additional evidence and explained that my husband would receive a conditional green card.

arnold, my I-130 was submitted in 2019 and approved a year later. kinda irregular case. adjusted after i- 130 I just saw many approvals here within the last hour you’re almost there!

finally happy to see approval in the case, now just waiting for them to send the green card, how long does it take usually?

my I-485 has just been approved!! around 5 hours later than the I-130 approval and 1 day after the interview! thanks everyone!!

so 24 hours later pretty much

plus our due date for our baby is on Monday, but might be giving birth any day, we are at 40 weeks on Monday

@a b, we weren’t asked much. names and birth dates, confirmed last entry date and aos submission date, asked medical, birth certs and joint assets. then some yes no questions from the form. that was it. my guess, they go easier with families who have kids. good luck. congrats guys, hope remaining ones get approved today.

congratulations. That’s a double celebration, you’ll get your green card within a week. That 1 week of waiting to get my green card was the longest week I have ever seen, I couldn’t sleep. 😂🤣😂

I have not received the “card is being produced” either. wondering how long it will take.

I think card will arrive without even changing the status, That’s what I’ve read, lets keep each other posted once our cards arrive

sometime it takes 2 days after approved and I think we are gonna get tracking number as well when card picked up by usps

My status changed to card was produced after 4 days and card picked up the following day.

we are k1 based so we didn’t file the I-130. the I-485 approval notice is under my name. I’m the petitioner and idk if it’s normal. i checked this morning and the letter is gone 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

@S A yes my spouse is the petitioner too , she is the us citizen and my approval came under her name, not mine, I was scared too but I spoke to a live agent…. it is completely normal

Not yet! it’s getting on my nerves hahaha. I actually received the approval a little bit later than the rest in this post, so I guess my card was produced got delayed a little bit. I hope I can see it on Monday. what about you?

it was the day after me or hours after? my approval came on Wednesday around 5pm pacific time

hello all I had my interview on April 29 and 485 said new card being produced does that mean my case is approved? my 130 didn’t change after how long does it change to case approved…it states interview complete and case must be reviewed so what next? how long until I see case approved for 130 and 485

guys question I haven’t received my approval letter yet it was approved on April 27. do I suppose to recieve before or with card.

@ONLYGOSKNOWS why, I received the approval letter yesterday in my mailbox. also you will be able to find a copy of them in your online account in the documents section. By the way I have just received that my card was picked up! I hope you get the update soon too!

@Arnold I got that update too. i am just worried may be usps deliver my approval letter to different address because my attorney got it yesterday but I didn’t.

yes I do. unfortunately my address doesn’t qualify for informed delivery.
