@María lee we went through the state senator, they asked for information and to sign some papers and then 2 weeks later we have our approval, highly recommend trying it

@Ale Ramos my wife lives in Texas and contacted Ted Cruz who is one of the senators for Texas, we were asked to fill out some paperwork allowing them to investigate, this was about a month ago, try your state senator and see what they can do

Congrats man, you’ve been waiting far too long! Happy for you. You and I have nearly the same PD (I’m August 21st). My Congressman (Illinois) said they inquirer but the USCIS told them “its within normal processing time” and we can’t do anything about it. Ridiculous. I’m curious, do you know what date it was showing you the soonest you could “inquire” about your application?

@K I oh wow that’s insane! apparently the Australian embassies are taking 3-5 months after i130 approval for interviews
