Hey guys! I did my biometrics one day earlier before my actual appointment date and they did let me take it. my question is how long does it take to show that I took the biometrics and send the interview notice??

there is no set timeframe it could be within 2 weeks or it could take months. also it may not update to show that fingerprints were taken

Mine just updated to case is being actively reviewed by USCIS

I did mine 19’days early, they didn’t apply it to my case until the actual biometrics date. 1 day is good, if they put you on “actively being reviewed”, you should get interview booked within a month.

It's been exactly a month for me. No interview yet!

@B Akin. did you have a reason to do it 19 days earlier? or you just walked in?
B AkinNov 6, 2021
No reason. I just hoped it would speed my case up.

Did they just take you in? I'm in the same situation. I want to get it done early.

I just walked in, I didn’t even have my biometrics notice yet, I printed it from my online account. I showed them along with my passport, no one asked any questions. I just got it done and I was on my way.

Hi there! Do you have any suggestion regarding the walk in fingerprint collection? I mean like what type of reason can I give to increase my chance of success? or what is the best timing? I am a healthcare worker/physician btw
