I am about to marry my partner, but he has a 5 year ban for working in the US. What's the process of filing? Can we get married and start the filing?

@O C I agree with w s that you should ask an attorney before you proceed. It is better to get legal advice and know what you are up against than to go into this situation blindly. With that’s said…. I wish you all best wishes going forward.

how did he get the ban ? when he went to get a visa ? or right when he got deported
