@sara tb My case was accepted In November 2022 and I have not received biometrics appointment yet. I talked to the congressman office about it and they made an inquiry on my behalf but USCIS said that I needed to wait until my PD becomes current. What is weird is that Biometrics should have been done already.

@sara tb if that’s the case then you only have to wait 4.5months and once you go to your senator or congressman, they have to give you an answer within 60 days. if your case is out of processing time now then you can do it now.

@liz Benz totally understand you. you are not alone in this process so a lot of people here understand but it’s always good to hear words of encouragement to keep going with this wait.

33months no work permit nothing still waiting for Vawa approval it’s so frustrating and hurting every blessing day can’t not even care or provide all my needs life is full of shits but I know God will do it for everyone waiting for approval one day.

I was 9 years without nothing, and for sure there’s people with more years than me waiting for this, TRUST THE PROCESS and find sources where you can get information from and always maintain yourself updated

its so hard, spouse been waiting over 9 months and still no work permit. we had our second baby 2 months ago and he has to work and its stressing both of us out. what is going on with the USCIS?? usually work permits come first 2-3 months

Hello greetings to you all. My name is Edmond and I got an issue which needs help

I got into the United States with a fiancé visa and got married within the 90 days period given. My fiancé and I filed for I-148 a month ago for change of status to green card but we haven't heard anything from USCIS. We at least expected them to have sent us an email or a mail confirming they received our application. We haven't heard anything from them. Again a friend just recently was telling me I needed to file for I-130 before filing for I-148. Can that be the reason we haven't heard from them? Please can someone help me let us know what to do at this point. thank you

Not even a work permit have they sent or even to tell us something is lacking so we know what to do.

I have been waiting 1.8 months which is 1 year and 8 months nothing my husband is a us citizen and they keep saying casing is processing normally how is that normal for a us cutizen filing and I 130 for is wife September coming will be 2 years since we send our i130 how does uscis takes almost two years reviewing an i130 doesn’t make any sense

I have been waiting for the longest time my status is stating ' My case is being actively reviewed by the USCIS' and I haven't receive any update from them again.. Am frustrated.

Amen🙏🏻Husband and I are also still waiting. Visa interview done ✅now waiting on VISA. After 2.5 years going through the whole process it now feels these past two weeks are dragging.
