yes call Uscis and let them know the situation and provide your proof they should consider your case under expedite request

@Anand kumar Subramanian When did you file for the EAD? They may not listen to you if you did not file for the EAD on time but there is no harm in trying. You have a limited time left and I think you should have been knocking on their doors long before now.

@Selith H EAD filed on Apr 13th, biometric completed on May 24th.

@Anand kumar Subramanian That is too close to the expiration of your H1B but I would advise you don't waste any more time and start knocking on their door. I have seen people get EAD approved within a month so I hope you get yours soon too.

I FAXed expedite request supporting evidence as USCIS requested 5 days before. i checked the status of the expedite request unfortunately representative said I have wait until USCIS reply through email and they cannot check the status of the inquiry. I am nervous because I can work only for next 5 days and I don’t know any timeline when I will get my EAD..

I don’t know the status, waiting for their reply via email or mail. they cannot track the expedite inquiry status, I assume it may be with one of the agent or officer reviewing it..

I am not sure, my EAD got approved due to expedite request because I never received any update or status of my expedite request. Also, my employer did not gave me any letter to support expedite request. I have included only my employer provided leave of absence agreement letter. I hope you submitted the evidence as per the USCIS requested. The challenges is the “Unknown” situation we’re we are not able to know the correct status of these requests. if you have faxed all the supporting documents, may you can try to mail them again. I understand it’s a frustrating..
