Waiting for I-756 EAD - National Benefit center - 8.5 months
Hi All, I have a question 2days back I raised a request and had a chat with the live agent, I didn't know how to put in one word to them cause was so emotional, I explained that I'm a new mom and I need to take care my newborn baby and having a lot of stress due to no job where I have to pay the mortgage, other payments, baby expenses due to stress I'm not able to concentrate on my newborn - And he just asked me to select a category I just said I'm not sure could be Financial Loss and needs to take care of my baby My question will the live agent will send the step by step chat I had with him or just a one-line description as financial loss category? In my experience they don't pass on any additional information unless you specify to add it to the notes. So if they say no, you can reapply in a week for another expedite and then I'd tell them to include a lot of details in the notes. Alternatively, did you reach out to your congressional representative? I had good luck with that.

@ A M thank you nope this is the first time I heard about the expedited request. earlier I was on a different category EAD and now I'm on C09 category. The automatic extension doesn't apply to initial process. It is ridiculous as I lost my job and can't use the extension period at all. #USCIS should allow #different category changes as well for automatic extensions.
