Waiting 70+ days after uscis received my response to their medical rfe!
I received (Apr 22) and responded (Apr 25) to my medical RFE. It's been more than 70 days since the FO received it but my case status still says "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". Total silence! I called (on June 27) and asked the officer to raise a service request and he did. Still no progress. My case is EB and I'm ROW. The FO that I sent my RFE response to is Holtsville, Long Island, NY. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do in this situation? Anyone in the same situation?

@AI M it’s vawa I filed in 2018 . Got approved in 2020. I filed for AOS . Had my interview in Jan 2022. The IO was so rude she asked me for my medical . I told her I sent it together with my AOS . She told me it was expired so she gave me a RFE medical (letter). I sent in my Medicals within 12 days . It’s been 6 months I haven’t heard anything . The sad part is that you can’t inquire anything on the phone under Vawa . Just waiting …..

my case got complicated.. they had lost my previous medical forms. issued a new rfe, but before I received the rfe letter, they found my previous medical forms and approved me a couple of weeks ago. as to how raise SR, just call uscis, talk to an agent and ask the to raise a service request for delayed response to your medical form submission. hope this helps

it's unlikely that they've lost it.. it's just that long island fo hasn't been among the quickest ones

sure. for me, it took a little more than 5 months. in the meantime, I called them 3-4 times a week asking if I can submit new SRs and asked them for status updates.

neither did they for me untill after they said they had issued a new rfe for me. and that's 5 months after I sent them my medical forms
