wait time for appointment at embassy?
we got all our documents accepted yesterday and a email saying we will contact with the embassy Tunis Tunisia to get a interview scheduled and to wait to hear back from them with the scheduled appointment. how long did it take you guys to hear back from the nvc and how long did you have to wait for an appointment? I know it varies from person and depends on the embassy as well but I’m curious to know how long it took some of you. my priority date is current! my priority date is Dec 24 2022.

@Angin Kazarian I did my affidavit of support form and uploaded proof of domicile (bank statements, mailing address) and proof of prior marriage termination so my divorce decree, my most recent tax statement, and hand written letter explains my situation that I live abroad with my husband the beneficiary applicant. my husband did his ds260 which is the visa application and uploaded all the required documents. police certificate, passport port photos, proof of only being married once to me and our marriage certificate. I can’t remember what more. all documents have been accepted and waiting for appointment.
it’s important to read carefully and follow instructions in order to prevent delays

@Rouba Abdelkebir my husband was approved for his visa in June 2024. it took 1 and a half year to fully complete. I hope that’s helpful. God bless
