Do not drop off school unless you absolutely have to do that. If you can afford remaining in school, I would encourage you specially since your husband is a permanent resident and not a US Citizen yet. However, since you have continued your language school even now that you have already submitted your Green Card application, if you were to drop off school, you wouldn’t necessarily get in trouble with USCIS because it wouldn’t count as overstay, at least not yet. It will only count as overstay if for some reason your green card gets denied. Then your overtay would start counting from that day. But assuming your case remains pending and you eventually get your green card, you would be just fine even if you drop off school. However, since you never know the outcome of a green card application and you have no control of the process, I would highly advise you to remain in school so you can maintain lawful presence, which is very important if your spouse is a green card holder.

@Satoru Gojo perfectly said @s ay please stay in school if you can to maintain yourself lawful presence, if your husband was a USC then whatever you did would have been forgiven but in your case right now is stay in school. Good luck on your journey.

Thank you for your comments. My husband will be a U.S. citizen 9 months later.
