Visa number not available but priority date is current

Hi All, My priority date became current from January. Since, October 2023 status of my AOS SHOWS but that visa is not available. Any idea why would it still show the old status? I am wondering if i have to do anything here? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

how to know if visa number available to a case. My PD is Nov 2021, interview done in July 2023, no updates yet 😟

@Jay D the doable next step is - 1) check if the ur 485 filing date has passed the minimum processing time for 485 cases in the service currently it is located 2) if yes, the. get your attorney to submit Service request and that will trigger an officer to pick your file 3) if no, then waiting is the only thing that can be done
