This makes no sense at all! Why move it back from June 2020 to Jan 2020 only to move it again to May 2020? These guys are confused and just want to frustrate us. Does it mean they don't know their numbers???? This should have been moved to May 2020 in the first place. It makes absolutely no sense!

It is for driving me crazy… My PD is 29 June 2020 😞. My exams are valid until September 15th 2023 (for 2 years). I hope my case is included in the extension rule for 4 years cause I sent my exams before September 30th 2021 🙌🏻

Jay Tran I’ve already sent my i485 almost two years ago and sent my exams without RFE in September 21. I am talking about the validity for exams… The USCIS in August 21 did a newsroom about form 693 and exams extension for 4 years. I received a RFE 2 months ago only requesting a form 485J from my sponsor. If my exams isn’t include in this extension they can send another RFE requesting new exams and it take more time and money 😫

@jjw A for you have an idea we are in 5 people from same sponsor in my store. 4 of us had interview

@jjw A It is very normal to have an interview. Only those lucky one doesn’t have interview. Otherwise it’s normal.

@Barbara b Can you share your experience what did they ask and how tough was it? Did they ask you how did you find your sponsor, which agency helped you, if you paid money to agency or not?

@Mr X yes! he did! all these questions plus for me tell about my years here, what I have done, study and etc.. about my past jobs ( at university and opt) but no question for my husband just the yes or no one’s.

@Barbara b Can you share what you replied for questions related to how you find you sponsor, you paid or not or any questions related to agency?

@Mr X it was tough because i think the agent was confused about the eads from opt and the one form my sponsor. he kept asking when I was thinking to start the job and he repeated some questions. but at the end everything was fine. I told him how much I paid to bdv and he was in shock! asked 3 times if the amount was right lol. my two friends had interview recently and questions were more about their hours at work

@Mr X I told them the true .. that I found BDV on a Facebook // Google search. and I paid an amount that covered fees, lawyers and etc. he didn’t ask if I paid something directly to the sponsor what of course the answer should have be No.

@Barbara b During your interview you weren’t working for your sponsor?

@Mr X correct! I was still working on my OPT. my interview was in august and I started to work for my sponsor around December

@Barbara b your case is pretty much similar to mine, including the interview.. My case also moved back to “fingerprints were applied” after I had my interview (end of august too).. mine never changed to “case remains pending”.. so frustrating.. 😕 my PD is May 2021..

But, it was a surprise seeing the date moving forward (even for a few months only) at this stage of the fiscal year.. A good surprise..

@Liliane C good luck to us! 🫶🏼 have you checked with uscis if your case moved to NBC? where did you have your interview? some field offices are slower than others. mine was Cincinatti I had a friend that hers at Boston and she still with no updates

@Liliane C mine changed to case remains pending 7 months after my interview. maybe it still “in line” or they are processing according PD.. so hard to say..! but it’s coming.. we will be receiving good news soon

@Barbara b my interview was in Lawrence, MA.. Last time I chatted through Emma the agent said it was still in Lawrence, but this was a few months ago.. I’m not sure if it has moved.. my interview was august 31st and on October 17th changed back to “fingerprints were applied”… Yup, immigration has no pattern.. It’s really hard to understand how they process things.. I hope so.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi, After I submitted my medical rfe on February, 023 my status is CRP. Does that mean interview exempted or will they still carry out the interview ? any inputs based on y’all experience

@Utopia L I didn’t see any CRP with interview after. a friend of mine got a RFE w/ CRP but just to send passport photos next

@Mr X that with my sponsor I’ll be able to get my resident permanent with a full time job and it would be a great start to build a solid foundation here. BTW, eb3 unskilled is not a new visa and they are aware that many applicants are over qualified for the positions. I don’t think they see it as a big deal. they know OPT takes only 1-3 years

@Utopia L but we never know.. maybe they request. very hard to say something because they’re very unpredictable

@Utopia L Did you get notification like “Rfe was received” after sending medical rfe? Mine also happened similar. I sent medical rfe then it went to case remains pending then again after 2 weeks “Case transferred to new office” and again “Case transferred and new office has jurisdiction”. I haven’t got “Rfe was received” notification yet.

@Barbara b In first letter when it said “cas has been transferred to new office” reason was stated as “Due to high volume of cases transferred for faster processing”. after a week got this notification “New office has jurisdiction”. Now waiting for this mail. Sure will ask you if needed. Thanks 🙏

@Barbara b My understanding based on forum and discussion thread regarding CRP most likely is, interview waived. However, like you said it’s USCIS, you never know . @Mr X I submitted the RFE in 2 weeks of getting request, it’s NBC. They sent me update that they received as soon as they received the mail. After a week, they post and update saying, Visa is unavailable at the Moment and the Case remains pending.
