I think that visa bulletin is for cases in NVC step

because I have seen some post having approvals even if the visa bulletin is not current for them so logically it doesn't mean anything when your case stills at USCIS

oh my God if it's for the cases those in the nvc step it's a disaster we need ages to arrive usa

FAD is 1 January 2018 for September Visa Bulletin while filing date is 1 September 2023. in such cases final action date means currently NVC is working on visa for applicants who have PD prior to 1 January 2018 and usually USCIS will approve cases when more visas are available for F2A category. Secondly, Cr1/IR1 cases for I-130 are not related to visa bulletin because they were filed by citizens and for citizens there’s no cap of availability of visa. These cases will get approved as per their processing times in respective centers regardless of Visa Bulletin dates. @Yasmine H @Byzd fd

@Yasmine H this approval that you talked about is for citizen or f2a and upgrade to citizens its not about f2a not current for f2a there's some people don't correct their situation when they posted their approval..

@Byzd fd there are certain things to consider for F2A approval during August or September. One of them is if they have expedited their case based on the reasons to expedite explained on USCIS website. Secondly again they can expedite the NVC process by following the guidelines if they qualify for that. As a general USCIS isn’t approving any regular F2A cases with PD after 1 January 2018 because no new visas are available. In case you got approved within this month them you can send your documents to NVC but they will hold your case and ask you not to pay for visa processing fee until further notice from them. So, in nut shell PD after 1 January 2018 no regular approval from USCIS in near future nor will NVC schedule them for interviews. But with expedited cases you have a chance. One of the expedite reasons could be your wife is pregnant or you have a child and who is suffering with mental distress due to father is too far away from child. This will go under humanitarian issues.

@thank god I just see a post approved i130 , just check the recent posts , as I explained before don't stress yourself with the visa bulletin because it is only useful for NVC step after DQ when you will wait for the interview letter ;)

@thank god the post of this morning is an approval with priority date November 2022 '' not current '' which means that the approval of I 130''uscis stage '' is not depending on visa bulletin '' NVC stage '' so if your I 130 is not approved yet don't be frustrated with the visa bulletin

bad news is there is no current this year 😢 October and November visa bulletin is the same
