@kat xx I tried to expedite twice through congresswoman but got denied twice.. I tried for financial reasons but the issue I make so much money so they didn’t accept that.. I tried to justify that my bills are high etc.. so I don’t know what would be a good reason.. she lives in turkey..

@roro April 2022 I contacted the congresswoman.. I did that before and nothing came out of it.. i emailed her few days ago so she can follow up.. it’s so draining

and when you contact uscis they are so unhelpful.. :/ it literally takes 15 min to review my application..

I too am a US citizen waiting for an interview to be scheduled. I had to get my congressman involved to passed the uscis stage as I was out of processing time frames back in June 2022. Depending on where the embassy is where she will interview will determine your time frame once you get DQd at NVC. NVC has increased their backlog tremendously from when I was getting approved but it looks like uscis is still FOS. This is so depressing.. I totally understand and feel your pain.. In 16 days will make 2 years since filing my I130. Try to stay strong..

Apart from covid, this administration really overwhelmed uscis with all these bunch of paroles and administration bs , under the last guy most petition average 6 months or less not going get better anytime soon . my 130 got approved under 4 months 2019 and my 824 was 4 months or there about, hang in there and hope for a new administration.
