I think you won’t be able to apply for I-485 all at the same time along with I-360. If I am not mistaken, you will just get your work authorization after getting your I-360 approved under c14 (?) category of approval.

the PR petitioner May need to prove innocence from being an abusive individual before they are able to become a US Citizen when they file N-400. such filing could result to uscis reopening your vawa case even after you may have gotten GC. think this through and seek legal counsel not lawfully community opinion.

he will never become a citizen, he’s been a PR for the past 10 years, has criminal record and 2 other DV injuction and cases. that’s why he is not a citizen and his lawyer told him to wait at least 5 years to become a citizen for those cases

Yes but the police never helped. they told me “ma’am if your husband doesn’t hit you we can’t to anything” and my aunt called 911 and the same police came back to my house and said the same thing and on the report he wrote we were having a couple fight sue to money problemas that I was leaving and I’ll be back in 4 hours. but he went to jail 2 months for an ex wife. but the ex dropped the charges so he was never convicted.

Got it. You never had anything besides calls and those police reports…. I was told the same thing when I went to the police department to talk about my ex. Use his previous charges in your case for proof of abuse. It wasn’t you but it can show that you are not lying about his behavior.

Yes we did that too. proving is a pattern, not just with me. but police was soooo useless. they didn’t let me file a report because “it wasn’t necessary”. HOW ABOUT THAT?

They wouldn’t do that unless he was caught in the act. It happened the same to me. They said “I can escourt you to pick up your stuff but there is nothing else we could do for you”

they were rushing me to leave and one cop said “take all the essentials” and I said “I’ve never had to run away from my house with a 2 months old baby, I don’t know what’s all the essentials”

Yes; you can’t get married during your process. It would automatically cancel your case. Since you are married to a PR, it will be able to apply for a green card after approval or I360.
