VAWA
Has anyone ever had their i130 & i485 Denied while being in the process of i360 VAWA? My I130 & I485 was denied and mailed out the same day my i360 Biometrics appointment was created and mailed to me. Could be coincidental or an actual thing but I don’t know, thought I would post up here and see if anyone has ever been in a similar or heard of a similar or the same scenario, if so what was the outcome or process.

Yes. If your 130 is denied it means all connected cases are denied as well. You should file 485 again but based on 360. It would be new 485.

@Jennifer S did you file vawa after your ex withdrew? if yes, did you hold your marriage i485 in abeyance?

if you were married to a U.S. citizen, file another i485, i765(C09 category) and i131 ASAP

you needed a lawyer to write to them . notifying them that you are filing separately. just file another one asap C09

So. my i485 has also been denied on the same day as i360! He is saying he didn’t withdraw and even said he will appeal it. I asked at the time of i360 receipt to hold i485 in abeyance but I never heard anything. I filed another 765 yesterday as my EAD is about to be revoked. I’m so worried, I have a job and a house for just me and my children now and I will lose it all without being able to work as that is my only income. I can’t afford a lawyer.

Mrs king, no need to panick. just go and file a new one for all your affected applications and you will be alright. Also, you EAD will still serve you until it reaches its expiring date. Before then put in your new application. They will send you letter about revoking and all but truly it will only be revoked if your EAD reaches its Expiring date; your vawa will cover you up. When you get your new I765 you will get a notice for extension in the event you don’t get your new EADA CARD on time to keep you going and in status as you are waiting. If your employer ask for a new EAD give them your I765 receipt showing them that info so that you can keep your job and you stay working through out that time of waiting.
