Please never lose hope. Fight for your rights. You can sue USCIS for delay on your own, if you cannot afford an attorney, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it "writ of mandamus pro se"

@Mrkvica M. My attorney told me that because as time passes you make ties with the U.S. Pay taxes, build family, study and work. Eventually it becomes harder and harder to deport your a$$ back to your country. That was my 2cents.
