VAWA on your own
Hi.
Has anyone filed VAWA on their own?
I’m pretty sure I no longer have an attorney, he never answers the phone/text/emails. filed a claim on BBB and now he calls to have a meeting over the phone - possibly to tell me he will no longer be representing me. He “sent” the documents but I’m not sure what he sent, so… Just in case, can I filed it on my own? anyone with successful overcome?

Yes I filed on my own in 2017 because I had no money and it was my really my last resort. I got approved in 2019. Just try to gather as much evidence as possible, make sure you get psychological evaluation is detailed and also your personal statement covers the whole period of your relationship.

you should try watching some YouTube videos on how to file it along with the uscis website … it’s usually one of the best ways if you can’t afford an attorney

If you can, find another lawyer who works with vawa. Don't not look for a "paralegal lawyer" try to find someone who is really interested and involved in your case. If not, file by yourself. Good luck
