It’s been a year since I filed for Vawa I would like to know if I can send a work authorization form so I can start working while waiting for Vawa approval.

@Q U , what are waiting for you can file form i-485, i-765 and i-131 together. You need to start working. Since you have a pending Vawa petition you are eligible to do so.

@Q U Unfortunately, concurrent filing is only possible when spouse is a citizen. You have to wait for approval of Vawa to get Ead. That's my understanding. Others may elucidate.

concurrent filing is possible if your abuser is lpr, if date of filing chart says current for F2A for your country, you are eligible for concurrent filing

you can definitely file it whether it’s concurrently or not if your spouse is a LPR. if you file C09 category you can get your EAD while your VAWA is pending
