VAWA I-360: How Detailed Should Friends/Family Affidavits Be for Good Faith Marriage?
Hi everyone,
For those who submitted affidavits from friends/family for VAWA I-360 (good faith marriage), did your witnesses include specific memories (like visiting your home, staying overnight, seeing you together as a couple, babysitting their kids together, etc.), or keep it more general?
Also, how long were the affidavits usually a short paragraph or closer to 1–2 pages?
Trying to guide my witnesses on what would actually be helpful for the case. Thank you!

A page or two should be fine let the witness include everything they know about you and your spouse for good faith marriage or abuse and their testimony must Aline with your personal statement.. Also, they should signed and notarized the affidavit.

@Noble Ben thank you so much for your response! I saw you replied to an RFE for good faith marriage did you resubmit old evidence or add new?
Also, should witnesses talk about me first and then what they observed about our marriage?
I do have a lawyer, just trying to gather insight from others who’ve been through this too. thank you
