This is a bad lawyer.. see another good lawyer.. make sure you collect evidence for the abuse &. consult with a therapist. he can not put you in deportation. DACA secure you.

How would a lawyer even say that to you, to continue living in slavery? I hope God sees and gives freedom to every immigrants in the US, knowing the reasons for the GC, they always switch up on loving us to wanting to enslave us. smh 🤦🏽‍♂️

protection from deportation and a work permit are both granted upon approval of VAWA. I don't see why your layer would advise to stay in abusive relationships for your status alone. you should do what is best for you. and safety should be the priority as well as your well-being. if I were you, I would applied for VAWA and got a green card and a citizenship through this path, I do not see how daca should be in any way against it. I would also no longer get help from this particular layer since she clearly is not interested in your safety. find a better help and trust yourself!
