hi! here is a detailed breakdown of my interview. my interview was held at the San Bernardino field office in California. when I walked into the room - he asked me to swear over a bible that the following questions would be answered truthfully. at this point I was allowed to call my lawyer to have her attend via phone. he opened up my file and had MY 485 application in front of him. he asked me all the questions directly from the application. he wrote my answer down if it was different from what I had on my i485 application. some things that changed where my address( I showed evidence of my update to uscis within 10 days of moving along with my drivers license with new address) he moved along. next thing he updated was my children- I had another child since I had filed. ( I provided a birth certificate) he asked if I was provided with a social security and A# both were yes so he wrote them down, so I had to show my social security card and my A# from one of the documents mailed to me. he asked me all of the questions from my i485 application. and at the end he tried to get to say I entered illegally- this is where my lawyer stepped in and had him stop asking about my Vawa. he left the room to get a paper from the printer which he handed to me- stating “ we could not make a decision at the moment “ and that was it. but the questions themselves are all from your application. all of them will be asked.

if anything has changed from when originally filed to now- be prepared to present documentation.

good morning all and @Mein Gandu so i went with a lawyer, because I had 2 arrest over 20 yrs ago . one was dismissed, and the other a mistermeana. so I went in the office, I had to lift my right and swear, to tell the truth etc. so questions I was asked was my full name. and date of birth, what country I am from.. what is my spouse full.name . how many kids I have. how many are with the citizen husband. did I work without authorization in the country. did I over stay my visa.. Who and what law firm is representing. how did I know how to do the vawa application, did my lawyer tell me what to put on the application.. NO!! how did I sign my application seeing my lawyer is outta state. then I was asked to give original copies of birth certificate of myself and kids.. and original copies of the sealed dispositions of my arrest. He asked if I have any other arrest other than these 2.. I said NO . he said speak now. because I am going to run your fingerprints right now and take your pictures.. I had to do my fingersprint right there in front of him and take my picture. and then he did background check right on the spot. so be prepared to do that. where do I live now. and he took the new address where do I work I work at the hospital. I gave him the adrenaline to the hospital and what I do there. so he said he gonna finalsize some stuff with his supervisor.. and he asked me if I can get mail at my new address I said yes.. he also asked me..I claim I was i a abusive relationship is that so.. I said YES . so that was around 3pm.. minutes to 5pm I see new card being produced. majority of the time he was flipping through my file. . and he asked questions from the 1485.. I answered yes to working without proper authorization.. and yes to overstay in the country.. guys its by the Grace of God and the lord Jesus. and much prayer.. because I had 2 arrest over 20yrs ago.. BE prayful guys the lord is faithful and HE LOVES US AND WILL HELP US.. YOUR NEXT IN LINE!!! MUCH LOVE GUYS 😍
