do you have a lawyer? these interviews can be intimidating without a lawyer.. plus your interview was pretty fast! Your interview was a month after? wow

they will ask about everything you provided about your case plus if you have ever been incarcerated etc

@juju Blanke everything I provided about my case. does that mean I will need to provide all those bona fide marriage evidence even tho I am divorced right now?

from what I read, they will ask you everything from I-485 form

yes this is why you need a lawyer. they would have advised on what to bring to interview.. just remember everything you put on the I-485 form… date of wedding, spouse DOB, when you arrive here and through what port, criminal background, whatever evidence you provided, they can ask you anything. How long after your case was approved did they schedule the interview?

@juju Blanke she said they approved her VAWA on 3/5/2024. I never heard that they scheduled interview in a month. When did they send RFE then

I filed writ of mandamus that’s why they approved and scheduled. they need to give adjudication within 60 days. I filed my lawsuit in Feb. paper were served 2/25 so the deadline is 4/25 lol my cases are not updated online. thank you @Mrkvica M. and @juju Blanke for the tips!

@Mrkvica M. never received RFE only G-56 for call in notice. I’m going to get the 693 exam done this Saturday.

@idk 🙂 🥱 my VAWA was filed 3/26/2021 and I’m done waiting. so I filed the mandamus. decedents received my summons on 3/5/24 and my VAWA was approved on 3/5/24. then 2 weeks later interview was scheduled on 3/19/24 for 4/18/24. so hopefully my 485 will be done after interview.

@Y 🌼 hi I had my interview feb 27 this year they will asked question on your 485 application. I will said make sure everything is correct my lawyer make a mistake. I got a letter after the interview saying case must be reviewed. today I check and it says new card been produced

@Y 🌼 don’t stress yourself.. your vawa is approved so most likely they will ask you only about your I-485. to prepare for your writ , did you use someone to make a template for you ? I wanna file a mandamus myself , I found a service that they said we will make a template + guidelines for. 499$

@idk 🙂 🥱 I got approved on the spot!!!! all questions are related to 485 like did you gamble illegally or prostitution or help someone across the border illegal or selling drugs. do you have problems of drinking or using drug these type of questions. very short like 8 minutes and told me card will be arrive in 1-2 weeks. right now the status is updated to card being produced!!!!
