mine is also from 2020, I recently received RFE for shared residence, good faith marriage and the abuse.

Get in contact with your congressman/woman, they are the ones that have direct contact with USCIS or even VSC. Is already out of time range, you can make an inquiry.

Todah I see a second extension prima facie letter from uscis in my mailbox. @m&m s Did you receive any prima facie? if so how much? How about any RFEs? Hope you should hear soon because 1700 days is too much wait time.

@Mrkvica M. got another update from congresswomen. my case is under security checks. what does this even mean. I have no criminal history.

@m&m s a lot of people's cases is stuck on "background check". It could be that uscis still didn't get clearance from your origin country and as soon as they get it, uscis will decide about your case. Unfortunatelly, if you are stuck in background check, you can't do nothing about it 😔 it could be that it's taking longer if you lived in couple countries, have common first/last name,

@Mrkvica M. ugh…. do you think security check is the last step of a potential approval or denial? or they need that first, then they conduct a thorough review with the evidence provided…

@m&m s i belive they already reviewed everything and now they are only waiting for background check so they can make a decision, so as soon as they get it, they will make a decision

@m&m s not everybody gets RFE, and since you didn't get RFE, that could mean that they have all information that they need and the last thing they need is security clearance from your country of birth

@m&m s we are in the same boat, Oct 2020. I also didn’t get any RFE. After my security check got cleared after a longgggg time, I got an interview notice which was returned as usps could not deliver it( I changed my lawyer but USCIS didn’t update at their end). Now I’m just waiting to see if they’ll resend the notice or just approve my case. I’m equally tired.

@Favor Mercy how strong was your i360 evidence? what did you submit? you can request an FIOA, try to get that letter asap! especially if theres a interview date!

@m&m s interview notice for i360. my VAWA isn’t approved yet. No it’s not a PF. because I inquired from USCIS to know what the notice was since I missed it, and they sent me an email to let me know it was an interview notice. Then I called and also wrote to USCIS to resend the letter but I’m yet to receive anything or even have an update on the app. I intend calling USCIS again today. I’ll keep you posted.

@Favor Mercy wow! really cant believe we waited this long and now they are sending out interviews. wonder if it just randomly picked! make sure you review your case with your lawyer. really hope they waive it.

@m&m s yes I also hope they waive it too. Yes I believe my case was strong as no RFE was requested and no denial after I’d sent my congressman to them 2ce and my senator 2ce too. The next thing I got was interview notice that could not be delivered. And yes they said they’ll be picking at random for interviews.

@m&m s I sent in all documents I could lay my hands on. plus good morals and letters of marriage of good fate from people who know us together.

@m&m s In this situation, I would advise to stay away for this app and divert to something more interesting and useful activities bcoz this will psychologically leads us to depression which I had been experiencing since 2017 until last year where I got into a company who sponsored me. Always have a secondary plan so that we could sustain here. I pray you will hear soon.
